Can Car-to-Car Communication Technology Save Lives?
A new car contains a lot of technology. In the case of the average American car, it contains GPS, a Bluetooth wireless network, a built-in cell phone and a compact digital video recorder with a built-in music player. All of this technology may save your life on your way to work if it is used properly. However, there is an important balance to be struck between the speed at which you operate the vehicle and the speed at which the vehicle operates in conjunction with your life. The technology in the vehicle and the life-saving technology on your part are two different animals, and they both have to be considered in a holistic view.
First of all, when it comes to technology, I think it’s important for you to realize that in the United States and most other countries, the technology in your car is regulated more strictly than it is in the United States. In the United States, you have a certain amount of technology allowed in your vehicle, and if it’s not used responsibly, it’s not going to save your life. In other countries, we have regulations that allow for more technology, and that technology is going to save your life if used responsibly.
In the United States, I personally feel there has been many instances where the technology in a vehicle has taken the life of a person. I’ve personally witnessed this when I was a traffic cop. My opinion is that there were times when the technology in the car took a life, and it was more often the driver rather than the technology that was at fault.
