Calmes: Happy birthday, Mr. President. Will you run again?
Mr. Trump: Honestly, I don’t know. I like to think about that and I think I probably will. Look, no, I mean, I was thinking about it and that’s why I have to get our taxes done. We have to get our taxes done. I like to think about that.
We’re also working on the tax bill, which we’ll see when it comes out at the end of the month. It’ll be very close to 60 or something like that, so it’ll be very close, and I have no reason to not run. And this, by the way, is a very important thing. And it’s very important for our country.
Cummings: Thank you very much, Mr. Trump.
Trump: It’s a great honor. Thank you.
Cummings: We’re not done. We’ve got a couple of other things to talk about with the President, because we have to spend some time with him next. We’ve got to talk about immigration. We’re gonna ask him some questions about this.
They say we only have a finite number of immigrants in the United States. Does that sound familiar? How can you help our veterans and our vets? We’re going to ask him about that and then we’re going to talk more about the importance of the wall.
In the past couple of months, we’ve seen Democrats refuse to fund the wall. We’re going to ask him what he has to say about that.
There’s a little-known group of immigrants who have special protections. So we’re gonna talk about them and then we’re going to put him in an interrogation room.
Donald Trump: A lot of the other stuff you hear, you say, “Oh, my goodness, this is a great man.” He’s always had the words in his heart. But you can see his heart is no good, but his words are no good. It’s no good.
Cummings: Thank you very much, Mr. President.
Trump: Thank you very much.
Cummings: We’ll be back with you tomorrow.
