In his latest rant against the “evilution” of Florida’s “Third Reich,” a former Florida state legislator — in a desperate attempt to defend the state’s draconian anti-sodomy law — blames the homosexually perverted actions of those who advocate legalizing gay rights for the recent deaths of several people in Florida.

Garcia’s latest rants have received much criticism in the online comments section and even prompted some Facebook users to take a more direct approach to the state’s anti-sodomy law:

“In the light of the recent deaths of three young gay men in Florida, I am calling on the U.S. State Congress representative to apologize for his insensitive comments about the tragic deaths in Florida due to ‘Third Reich’ homosexual men.”

In the last few weeks there have been a rash of horrific homosexually motivated murders — not just in southern Florida, but a couple of weeks ago, a gay man was shot and killed on the New Jersey-Pennsylvania border in a case reminiscent of Florida’s killing of Scott Peterson. It should be a reminder to Florida lawmakers that their anti-sodomy legislation will not prevent a single death in this state.

Garcia’s latest rant against the “evilution” of Florida’s “Third Reich” — after he previously supported the state’s anti-sodomy law — seems to indicate that he, like the state, can’t see past the homo-eroticism of his own “Third Reich.”
